Overview
This was my very first website project, and boy was it a big one. DD, an inbound marketing agency in the education space, needed to invent a platform that provides powerful tools and resources that would help empower enrollment marketers in the higher education industry. These resources would consist of podcasts, blogs, ecourses, videos, cohorts and more. This was the very genesis of what is now an exploding community in the world of enrollment marketers.

The Challenge
One of the things we heard time and time again was that there aren’t enough relevant, actionable resources available for enrollment managers — and specifically enrollment managers working at the graduate level. Many of the resources that do exist are antiquated and don’t sufficiently address the challenges that the modern enrollment manager faces or are crafted first for other industries (primarily those operating in B2B and B2C channels) and then applied to higher ed as a sort of after-thought.
So we asked ourselves, what would it look like to develop a platform, an online community, and a brand that was solely focused on equipping enrollment professionals with the marketing insights they need to make better decisions about how to generate the next generations of students?
The Approach
The voice & tone of this brand, and the content produced on this digital platform is wholly focused on helping enrollment marketers increase their bottom line results. Every post they read, podcast they listen to, and eCourse they enroll in would be oriented towards increasing enrollment.
In order to make that happen, we made the entire platform built to educate as well as engage, feeling less like work and more like play. Users have the opportunity to digest interesting content and learn about the brand through a visually rich curriculum through various mediums.
