Overview

My team and I worked with the nonprofit organization Native Hope to relaunch their website and design and develop a platform to shine a light on their stories, provide educational resources, and raise money to assist their missions.

The Challenge

 

The main challenge was to organize the many stories and resources shared by the nonprofit community while making it clear and easy to navigate through their various mission projects and donation pathways. Along with this challenge, we also had to revisit the visual styles and components to give it a consistent structure & elevated look to pair with the weight of their content.

 
 

The Approach

 

My team and I outlined a messaging strategy, donor engagement plan, and a new visual identity—helping to execute a communication strategy, storytelling marketing, and an elevated experience that encourages exploration, curiosity, and engagement through inspiring content.

Visual Styles

After analyzing all of the client’s existing content, we were able to strip down and develop a brand new visual style that would both make it easy to establish a clear hierarchy and elevate the mood of all their content.

The juxtaposition of black and red make up the base of the identity. In addition, we use it in both minimalist as well as abstract form to create visual interest, focus, and familiarity across various touchpoints.
